Armenian electronic corpora include several text banks of Old Armenian (http://www.digilib.am/, titus.uni-frankfurt.de, www.sd-editions.com/LALT/home.html), as well as a syntactically tagged corpus of Western Armenian texts created by Anaïd Donabédian (INALCO, Paris), see description at a.donabedian.free.fr/textes/Noojarmenien.pdf.

General purpose untagged SEA texts (electronic libraries) are represented on the Internet by several open-access online libraries offering fiction (http://www.armenianhouse.org/, http://www.hayeren.hayastan.com/, http://www.artgrak.am/) and non-fiction (http://www.people.cornell.edu/, http://www.arlis.am/, http://www.brusov.am/).

Modern SEA press enjoys good online representation due to online editions of several popular Armenian newspapers. Most newspaper websites, however, only allow access to a current issue. The few exceptions that feature archives include http://www.azg.am/, http://www.aravot.am/, http://www.yerkir.am/, http://www.iravunk.com/.

We are thankful to all those who made Armenian text resources openly available on the internet; below is a list of on-line resources used in the creation of the EANC database.

In contrast with written discourse, spoken Standard Eastern Armenian is completely unavailable for research either online or in print. Unsurprisingly, the absence of raw materials complicates any descriptive effort in this domain.
